A while ago, fellow greek fashion bloggers Alecca Rox, Chloe in the Sky, The Soho Symposium, Life Full of Fashion and I were contacted by journalist Dimitris Papadopoulos (who also writes an extremely interesting blog) to be featured in Tachydromos magazine, a supplement to the weekend edition of TA NEA newspaper. Instead of the standard I'll email you the questions, you'll email me back with the answers and your own photo procedure, we met up for some good old real-life conversation over coffee, somewhere in down town Athens. That's were the photoshoot took place as well, in the narrow streets around Ermou.
To tell you the truth, I never thought I'd enjoy it *that* much. The conversation was flowing and we talked pretty much about anything concerning fashion in Greece. Blogging, fashion journalism, fashion weeks, designers, the whole deal. It's such an unexpected bonus when the interviewer actually cares and engages in what you're talking about, instead of just crossing off questions from a list.
And like that wasn't enough to make our day, the designated photographer turned out to be the legendary Spyros Staveris. I won't tell you much about him, I don't think I can talk about such an important photographer. His work speaks volumes on its own.
Big thanks to both Dimitris and Spyros.
Working with them for this feature was a true honour.
