One street, 15 men

Who are these men? What do they have in common? Why were they photographed?

One is a make up artist, another is an architect, another a salesman, a fashion designer, a hair dresser, a stock keeper... 15 men, coming from Greece, Irak, Bangladesh, Albania and Moldavia, with totally different lives, believes, cultures, have one thing in common: they are currently living or working in Pallados street. A tiny, little street in the Psirri area, downtown Athens.

Andreas Antoniou, Creative Director, gathered these men and Sotiris Georgiou, Achileas Fakiolas(sca2ner), Dimitris Zafireiou, Manufaktura clothing, Marka t-shirts, Designreals and Amon clothing, Greek fashion designers, dressed them.

Then, Marina Siakola photographed them.
Money from the sales of the photos and the exhibition catalogue will be donated to the "Sophia Foundation for Children" in Kenya.

"The exhibition "Men of Pallados street" shows that the everyday life heros of a tiny, little street downtown Athens are here for one and only reason: to remind us that although we are all so different from each other, maybe, we are all the same at the end..." says Andreas Antoniou.
Have a lovely & creative week (although mine didn' t start very well)...
